Something you might not know about me is that I publish only about 50% of the editorials I shoot for my blog. The rest are rejected for any number reasons – too bright, too dark, colours suck, bad hair day! – and never se ethe light of day. However, once in a while I do look back into my archives and rethinking why I had rejected those photos. This shoot, for example, was one of two for my collabration with sustainable Aussie label Singlet Dress styled with a pinstripe biker jacket. But looking at these photos again, I fell in love with the contrast of the green against the off-white dress, which represents so well my view of the raw, earthy and natural aethetics of Vege Threads. So here’s a little retrospect to a shoot that didn’t make the cut the first time around.
