While I am a strong believer that a minimal wardrobe is founded on a neutral colour palette, I do think that pink, in a certain shade, does have its place. Of course, in my book, it must meet some strict criteria. First, it must be very pale indeed, to the point that you could call it blush. Blush, after all, could almost be considered a neutral in itself. Second, if you are incorporating a pink piece into your outfit, it would likely be wise that the rest of the outfit be as pared back as possible. That said, I’m of the opinion that pink outerwear is a special category that can be liberally worked into your wardrobe in any way, especially a sleek pink blazer. Mine is YB J’amie by Yeojin Bae piece from Jaz & Alex Boutique. As for pants, skirts, or even shoes, a suitably pale pink shade in these would work beautifully as long as they are accompanied by the basic of basic items.
